At Decent, we're strongly centered around our community. It helps us grow and evolve. The massive knowledge and user help in the Diaspora helped convince another sixth of our users into buying a Decent.

A high percentage of our users chose a Decent because they felt that it's the ultimate tool to learn about espresso. Since the machine measures everything, it helps users know where they went wrong and improve their espresso skills.
Upgradeable software and hardware
Decent's software-centered approach means that buyers continue benefitting from innovation and improvements via free software updates for years. Most hardware improvements to the DE1 have been available as inexpensively self-install updates. This helped convince a high number of people.
